Great single dentist office provides for a more personable experience. Everyone from Dr. Poff, Natasha at the front desk and Lisa, the dental hygienist is extremely friendly and competent in their jobs/roles. Highly recommend considering Pelican Dental for your dental needs.
Dr. Logan Poff, DMD
Dr. Poff was born and raised in St. Petersburg graduating from Boca Ciega High School. He received a Bachelor in Biological Sciences at Florida Atlantic University and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at LECOM School of Dental Medicine. Prior to returning to St. Petersburg, Dr Poff practiced as an Associate Dentist in Southwest Florida under a tenured mentor where he refined his clinical and patient management skills.
Dr. Poff places a high value on continual education as evidenced by additional implant training, endodontic training, and the completion of basic and master surgical courses. He has also attended the prestigious Spear Institute in Scottsdale and is working toward achieving fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry, a feat achieved by only six percent of dentists. He believes his commitment to continual training is key to providing the best care to his patients and enabling them to have more complex treatments completed in his office.
He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and Pinellas County Dental Society.
Outside the office, Dr. Poff enjoys spending time with his fiancée and is very active in all things involving water, fishing, surfing, and diving.
